Famous airplane producer Boeing tested its 737 MAX before certification flights.
The company, specializing on government military orders still wants to be one of the leaders of public aviation even despite Boeing crushes.
The CEO of the group said that in total its pilots have made 120 flights, which is 203 hours with the corrected software, whose initial version is considered as the major element that led to two deadly crashes.
Boeing has made a final test of its 737 MAX with the modified MCAS anti-stall system, a step that is considered crucial to obtain a new flight authorization, announced the manufacturer of the aircraft on the evening of Wednesday, April 2019.
The group’s CEO, Dennis Muilenburg, tweeted a video in which he shares new insights into the recertification process of this grounded aircraft since mid-March due to two Being crushes, followed with numerous victims in less than five months.
“Boeing completed its last test flight on April 16, Tuesday with the updated MCAS software. It’s a technical-key flight, preceding a certification flight with the Federal Aviation Agency”, detailed the builder in a statement.
The CEO emphasizes that in total his test pilots have made 120 flights totaling 203 hours with the corrected software, whose initial version is considered the major element that led to the accidents of Lion Air, end of October 2018 and Ethiopian Airlines on March 10th.
“More than 85 percent of the more than 50 MAX operators around the world also have the opportunity to experience updating the MCAS during flight simulator sessions,” Muilenburg said.
The entire Boeing Boeing locomotive 737 MAX fleet has been immobilized since mid-March after an aircraft of this type, operated by Ethiopian Airlines, Boeing crashed south-east of Addis Ababa a few minutes after take off, making 157 dead. This tragedy occurred a little more than five months after the accident of a 737 MAX of Lion Air having made 189 dead.
In both accidents, the MCAS anti-stall system was questioned. The FAA validated Tuesday some of the changes made by the manufacturer, including training pilots.
According to numerous pilots of this type of airplane, all trainings and force major situations have been effected in terrestrial training centers, and not on boards of the airplanes, which also could have provoked problems with risolving difficult situations on board, during the flight.
However, after Boeing crushes, it still wants to be one of the leaders on the market, even though its main occupation are military government orders. Supported by the USA powers it keeps doing its best to stay on top of the world raitings.
