Visit one of the most famous museums in the world
You cannot, visiting Florence, do not see the most famous work of Michelangelo - the statue of David. The young Michelangelo made the statue of David from a solid block of marble in threeyears. This statue became an icon of the ideal of the Renaissance and a symbol of power and invincibility of the Florentine Republicduring its hey day.
When you get there
In front of Accademia Gallery Reserved ticket Entrance
Our guide was referred to David statue as if it was alive now and made the story of Michelangelo living again. Highly recommend to visit the Accademia Gallery and also recommend getting a tour guide if you are not exceptionally familiar.
Wonderful tour with a very interesting guide. They were only 9 of us and we got to learn about the little things you do not read about in books. Beautiful tour leaving me with memories for years to come.
Art is beautiful!
The history of the famous artist passes through our whole century. He was a wonderful creator of the beautiful. He has a lot of expensive work and he is now appreciated as a connoisseur of art. Thanks to the guide learned a lot of new.
Walking, Uffizi and David Tour with Maskon travel
We were in Florence a few weeks ago and took 3 different tours with Maskon travel. The first was a walking tour of Florence, the second was the Uffizi tour and the third was to see the statue of David. Our tour had about 15 people, which is somewhat large but manageable. We were given headsets so we could hear everything. I would definitely take this tour again and recommend it to anyone who wishes to understand Michelangelo and the David.
